From the designer: "The focal point of the sampler is an acorn with a quote by Remy de Gourmont. Woodland animals, pumpkins, apples, and a turkey. Eight-pointed stars which are typical in quaker samplers are sprinkled throughout. The letters of "AUTUMN" and "FALL" are spelled out in a Roman style alphabet. Unique to Quaker samplers is the inclusion of bold and intricate medallions and half medallions, often lined up along the edge as a border.
